Was turned off by all the mediocre reviews I see for Everett and Jones. Hubby remembered seeing a review for this place so we came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. With 9 TVs on the wall, there was a sports ball game for everyone. Really good tri-tip and brisket and super affordable as well. Will be ordering about 10lbs of take out later this week!

We had catering for a small party and the food was so incredibly delicious. Everyone at our party loved it. The Mac and cheese and brisket were my favorite! And the original bbq sauce was soo soo good! They also sent napkins, utensils, plates and serving utensils. It was also very easy to order catering on their website and Myah their event coordinator was friendly, helpful and quick to reply. Would 1000% have catered again, and plan to eat in restaurant soon. So good!!!

Came here for a five dollar Friday happy hour. The five dollar lemon drop is a great deal, and of all the different five dollar apps we tried, the wings were definitely the star of the show. Both flavors were amazing- the henny bbq had such an amazing flavor and the lemon pepper was nice and zingy.

I've had the brisket, the tri -tip, the chicken thighs, and the the salmon. I lean toward the tri-tip being my favorite, the brisket is a close second. The chicken and salmon are good options for people who don't eat red meat. The sides are average. You've probably had better, and you've definitely had worse. The mac & cheese and the fresh green beans are my usual picks. The collards and mixed veggies are decent, they get included depending on who I'm ordering for. In general, I find the portions to be good. A classic plate lasts about two meals for me. The option to order by the pound is really convenient, do some quick math before ordering to determine the most economical option for your needs. It's also easy to plan ahead since the menu is on their website. I've only gotten food to-go (or from catered events). I try to stick to off-peak times because they take a while to fulfill orders, think 45+ minutes. I 100% recommend ordering ahead. Check your bag for accuracy before you leave.

I order the brisket with potato salad and collards. My friend had the Tri tip and potato salad and collards. I think the brisket was better this time. I just wish it was seasoned more. It was juicy and tender, but they could've trimmed the fat a little. The potato salad was good, it was on the sweater side. The collards weren't for me. My friend said the tri- tip was chewy but had a nice flavor. He like potato salad and greens. I'll give a four for the brisket and potato salad, even under seasoned and a little fatty it was good. The greens I don't know.

My fiancé and I came here last Sunday in the early evening. There were only a few people working the front so it took a while for us to get seated. Despite there not being a lot of staff, our food actually came out pretty quickly. The bar seats were full and there were some other parties at the tables. I ordered the Classic Plate - beef brisket with Mac and cheese and coleslaw. The brisket was tender and the Mac and cheese was good. The coleslaw was okay for me. My fiance had Three's a Crowd with the beef brisket, ribs, and beef links with Brussels sprouts and coleslaw. He seemed to like them. The pink lemonade was too sweet but the ginger ale was refreshing. I also ordered the banana pudding and that was great! I had to take it home because I was too full and it held up well the next day.

Smokin Woods BBQ lives up to its reviews! We ordered to go on a Saturday around 2PM and it was a bit busy. Food: I ordered the Classic Plate (1 meat and 2 sides) and got the beef brisket with mac and cheese and bbq baked beans. Beef Brisket: 4/5 Very tender and yummy. A lil tooooo much smoke flavor for me and a tad dry, but still delicious and filling. Great portion size. Mac and Cheese: 4/5 Very fresh. Lots of cheese. Like not as creamy because it's more cheese than milk but still good. BBQ Baked Beans: 4/5 Average beans. Yummy. Not too hard or soft. Sweet Heat BBQ Sauce: 3/5 Not actually spicy? Tasted like normal bbq sauce to me. Service: Ordered online and it took a little longer than the original pickup time because they ran out of mac and cheese. I didn't mind tho lol they were nice. Pricing: $ Honestly such a good price for bbq. I have been to places that offer the same quality for a higher price and less food. Smokin Woods is definitely worth it and quite tasty. Ambiance: Kind of dark inside lol but big, open space and outdoor seating is really nice. Seemed clean, but I ordered to-go. Parking: Street parking is hit or miss. 4 stars because it is a good bbq place, but doesn't stand out to me. Would definitely come back if I am in the area though!
